LYRICS IN DESCRIPTION -No Copyright Infringement Intended! Song: “Try Me” Artist: Trisha Yearwood featuring Ronnie Dunn Album: “Jasper County” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Try Me lyrics You don’t think you can find true love again Won’t you try me There’s somebody somewhere that you can’t forget So you’re not free And I don’t believe you believe you could ever get by me Maybe I could undo all the hurt you’ve been though Try me try me try me You’ve got no right to deny me a fight til you try me It could be all wrong but it could be alright so why don’t we You need a way to forget yesterday well that’s easy If a little heartache is what you need to shake Try me try me try me Come on love you’ve got nothing to lose A lifetime of loneliness what does that prove When you count up the odds there is no guarantee Try me try me try me When you go to sleep and you cant find a dream won’t you try me A place you can whisper the secrets you keep thats what I’ll be And when you’ve given up and there is no one to trust come and find me Then maybe you could leave lonely for good Try me try me try me Try me try me try me
Country music star and bestselling cookbook author Trisha Yearwood, host of Food Network’s Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, is back with an encore of recipes that once again share her family traditions and warm home-grown cooking style.
In her debut cookbook, Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen, Trisha proved that there’s much more to her than an award-winning country music career, as she welcomed us into her kitchen and served up a feast of flavorful meals and heartwarming personal anecdotes. Now, in Cooking for Family and Friends, Trisha opens her life and her kitchen once more with a trove of recipes from a lifetime of potlucks and colorful gatherings.
Trisha has that southern hospitality gene and she’s a big believer that cooking for someone else is an act of love. From breakfasts in bed to hearty casseroles and festive holiday meals, Trisha’s delicious recipes are dedicated to her loved ones, including her husband Garth Brooks (who’s her number one cooking fan and the contributor of a few knockout recipes of his own).
Trisha knows how good it feels to bring something to the table. It brings everyone closer together if they’ve had a hand in preparing a meal. These recipes all come with memories attached—of potlucks with good friends, church suppers, family fish fries, and beach picnics, Mother’s Day, and Christmas gatherings. Many are handed down from her mother, her aunts and cousins, or longtime friends, while others are her own contemporary improvisations on classic southern fare. Each one—whether a main dish, a tasty side, or a decadent dessert—comes with a heartwarming story from Trisha’s life that may remind you of some of your own favorite family foods, or inspire you to create new traditions.
You don’t have to be a southerner to enjoy Yearwood family specialties such as:
• Hot Corn Dip
• Cornbread Salad with French Dressing
• Baked Bean Casserole
• Pumpkin Roll
• Old Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake
Plus, Trisha (and her sister and mother) offer up loads of practical advice, on everything from easily icing a cake to cutting a slice of pie, time-saving tips; and ingredient substitutions. With full-color photographs taken at Trisha’s home, this soulful and sincere testament to a southern life well-lived will delight both country music fans and home cooks everywhere.

A sterling cast headed by Oscar-nominated Susan Sarandon makes this slick thriller one of the better adaptations of a John Grisham bestseller. Mark Sway (Brad Renfro) witnesses the suicide of a Mafia lawyer, who confesses that the Mob was behind the murder of a US senator. Mark’s brother is traumatized into a coma by the incident; gangster Barry Muldano (Anthony LaPaglia) is soon on Mark’s trail, and in desperation, he arrives at the office of recovering alcoholic lawyer Reggie Love (Sarandon). With the Mob after them, and a ruthless federal attorney (Tommy Lee Jones) trying to force Mark to reveal what he knows, Love battles to guarantee the safety of her client and his family. The relationship between Reggie Love and Mark Sway is the center of the film, adding considerable character development to plot’s routine elements. Director Joel Schumacher helmed another Grisham adaptation, A Time To Kill, in 1996.

Taco Pizza Prep: 10 minutes Bake: 17 minutes Ingredients: 1 Pizza Dough 1 tbsp Yellow Corn Meal (optional) 1 can Black Bean 1 package Taco Seasoning 1 1/2 cup Mexican Cheese Blend 2-3 Roma Tomatoes, chopped 4 oz Lettuce, chopped 4 oz Sour Cream 2 tsp Hot Sauce 1 tbsp Cilantro, chopped Tortilla Chips Avocado, (optional) 1 lime, juiced Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll out pizza dough and sprinkle the corn meal on one side. Flip the dough over and place it on a baking sheet, corn meal side down. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the crust becomes a light brown. In the meantime pour the black beans and taco seasoning into a sauce pan over medium heat. Once the beans have warmed throughout mash them up using a potato masher and set aside. Take pizza out of the oven and evenly spread over the bean mixture like you would a pizza sauce. Then top the entire pizza with cheese. Place pizza back in the oven for 7 minutes or until all the cheese has melted and crust becomes a darker brown. While the pizza is finishing baking, in a small bowl combine the sour cream and hot sauce then mix together. Place into a resealable bag and snip the corner edge off to make it easy to pipe over the pizza. Remove the pizza from the oven and top evenly with tomatoes, lettuce …
